These sunny days we've been having just furthermore prove that I'm a different person when it's sunny. Sunlight makes me happier, puts me in a better mood, I feel healthier, less anxious and it makes me more excited to leave the house and enjoy the sun. I'm not happy with the fact that these are odd temperatures for this time of year but I can't help but think this is exactly what I needed right now.

About this outfit, this was the first time I wore this faux leather jacket, I love how powerful it makes me feel and it's such good quality for the price. Before leaving the house, I wondered what lipstick shade to wear and then it hit me, red! (duh) but then I remembered I had purple eyeshadow on, after having already applied the lipstick... oh well. This sweater was something I wore in a previous post and probably never wore again because the openings with the bows on the sleeves aren't very comfortable, it's a pretty sweater but it's just a bit weird. Also, is this the first time you're seeing my combat boots? Can you believe I have these? Who do I think I am?! They look really good though, don't they?

On another note, how has your week been? Do you celebrate Carnaval where you're from? We celebrate it here but I honestly haven't celebrated it even slightly this year. I'm busy, the motivation isn't really there and I feel like loads of people don't feel motivated either, I barely saw anyone wearing a costume this year, even little kids, I only saw a handful of children in costumes.

It might seem like it was sunny and warm the day I took these pictures but truth is, I was freezing to death taking them. I wanted to show this new sweater I got from Zaful (check out the latest post) so I couldn't have jackets or coats on top of it. For some odd reason, my body actually got used to the cold and by the time we took the last picture I was fine but up until then, I was shivering. It seemed like a scene from a professional photo shoot where the model is taking pictures in a bikini in the freezing cold and once it's done, a personal assistant hurries and covers her up with a warm blanket except this wasn't a professional photoshoot, I'm not a model, I wasn't wearing a bikini and my PA was a family member.

I've already talked enough about this sweater, it's super comfortable, it's super soft and much better quality than I imagined. I decided to style it with basic jeans, a basic bag, and to add a chic element I decided to wear this blanket scarf around the back of my neck and let the tails fall down, instead of how I usually wear it. I think it looks super nice and different and also really warm. And I love how it looked on these pictures, flying around.

On a more personal note, I'm sick. I'm not too sick though, it's just a cold. I started watching Stranger Things last week (I know I'm late, you already know me) so I'm definitely gonna binge watch all of it these days that I feel poorly. Netflix is everyone's best friend when we're ill, am I right?

First of all, I want to apologize for not posting in such a long time but I've so busy and by the time I get home, I'm too tired to do anything.

But, today I bring you a review of some things I ordered from Zaful.

The first thing is a clothing piece. I'm in serious need of some cosy sweaters and when I saw this one I fell in love. The bows on the sleeves looked so cute and the fabric looked really nice. When I got it I was pleasantly surprised. It's a great quality and it looks just as nice as I imagined it. The fabric is super soft and the shape is so slouchy and baggy but without looking like I'm wearing a trash bag (you know what I mean?) It looks super chic and I can't wait to wear it with really minimal necklaces, I think it's gonna look great since this sweater has such a low neckline.

The second thing I ordered were these makeup brush cleaning pads. They seemed interesting so I decided to get them. They have a bit where you clean the brushes and another where you rinse them. I've tried them earlier today and the cleaning bit really works, it's quick and easy but the rinsing side doesn't really work as effectively. It takes a while to rinse them properly, the wavy pattern doesn't really help much. I'm gonna keep using them and I'll see how they work.

The last thing I ordered was a facial cleanser. I had been looking for a facial cleanser for a while and at first, I thought about getting the Clarisonic but because it's so expensive I tried to look for dupes. The problem with brushes like the Clarisonic is that you need to substitute the brushes every couple months and that's too much work for me. Then, I thought I'd get the Foreo one but that one is also a bit pricey. When I was browsing the Zaful website, I found this dupe and decided to try it out. I didn't have very high expectations but after getting it I think it might be a good dupe, for now. I still have to try it more and use it more to really see the effect it has on my skin but I can tell you that my skin seems smoother and my red marks and acne scars are less visible. When it comes to cleansing, I don't see a major difference. I like the silicone bristles, and it seems quicker and easier to cleanse than if I used my hands so it's definitely worth it.

Do you remember a while ago when I mentioned how I was sick of seeing Fall and Winter blog posts in plain Summer? Well, NOW is the time to worry about what we're gonna wear in the colder seasons. So before I tell you what I did to my hair, I want to talk about what I'm wearing. As you can see, I'm wearing the most basic outfit ever: jeans, white t-shirt and white sneakers. And why am I wearing such basic pieces? Because I wanted it to be all about the accessories. I was never much of an accessories kind of person but I'm trying to get more into it because I feel like as a blogger, I need to step up my fashion game and I really want to start incorporating more accessories into my outfits and have more fun with it because it does seem fun how a simple accessory can change an entire outfit.

So I decided that for the first few times, I'd choose simple clothing and then as time goes by, I'd feel more comfortable and try to pair the accessories with more detailed clothing.

For today, I went for this choker that I hadn't worn in a while and I thought the lace looked nice here since the shoulders on my t-shirt are also lace. I also chose these rings which I think are so cute but unfortunately, not all of them fit me and the ones that don't fit could be worn as knuckle rings but my fingers are so thin, the rings just fly off my hands... But the ones that do fit are super cute and I absolutely love them. Since I was going for a white t-shirt and sneakers, I really like to pair gold with it. My favourite metallic colour out of the three main ones is copper/rose gold and my second favourite is silver but I think gold looks super nice with black and/or white.

Finally, the bag. This is a recent purchase. I was in need of a new small bag and as you know, I don't wear leather so my first instinct was to go for a cheaper bag since those usually aren't made of leather. My first thought was Primark. Their bags are cheap but good and they're always really cute. I went with my parents which made the choice harder because they're very opinionated and most of the time, their opinions are the complete opposite of mine. They wanted me to get this black, brown and beige bag which I wasn't a fan of because I don't really like the combination of black with brown tones. I also saw another light grey bag that was super pretty but because it was such a light colour it would get stained and dirty really easily. But then, I saw this bag. They had another version of it in grey and yellow, I believe but this one was my favourite. I love the combination of the black with the plum which is gonna be perfect for fall and I love the crocodile texture in the front bit of the bag, it looks so mature. I absolutely love this bag, I'm gonna get so much wear out of it, I'm sure.

And here I bring another Zaful review! This time I'm only gonna review the products I ordered because I've already reviewed everything else in my previous Zaful review and this time it was all the same so there's nothing interesting to add to that.

So, I decided to order a jumpsuit, a pair of shorts and a necklace. You know how much I love jumpsuits so this one was obvious and I was in desperate need of a new pair of shorts and when I saw these I fell in love. I was so impressed by their quality I might just order some denim shorts again. The necklace is just very simple and I thought it'd be a nice addition to my collection.

First of all, the jumpsuit. This is the item I was most excited about if I'm honest. It seemed beautiful on the website and it had great reviews so I had high hopes for it. When I received it, I immediately tried it on and noticed that there were some things that needed touch ups. It fits a bit big on me so I'm gonna have to take a bit of fabric out on the sides and because my boobies aren't that big I'm also gonna have to sew a bit on the breast area so that it doesn't pop open. Another thing I'll do is on the straps because they're removable in the back so that I can cross them as well, I'm gonna take the plastic bits off and sew them to the jumpsuit, I like it more that way. Other than those things, the jumpsuit fits fine, it's the perfect length and it looks so summery and pretty.

There's not much to say about the shorts. They're gorgeous, they're not see-through at all which I was kinda worried they'd be, the denim is super thick and strong and the embroidery is super pretty. Overall, the shorts are excellent quality and the price is so cheap, they're an amazing find. The only thing I'll say is because the denim isn't stretchy, I'd recommend sizing up so that they can feel more comfortable.

The necklace is another one of those "cheap and great quality" finds. It looks way prettier in person than it does on the website and it looks more expensive than it was. It's really neutral, not only because it's silver but also its style matches so many different people and clothing styles, no matter what you're wearing, this necklace will go great with it.
